About Me
I specialise in supporting adults and adolescents who feel weighed down by difficult emotions—whether that’s anxiety, shame, jealousy, or a repetition of unhelpful patterns in relationships. My approach helps you understand the deeper story beneath these feelings and begin the process of real transformation—building both insight and practical tools for lasting change. As a psychologist, I view therapy not only as a service for those with a diagnosis, but for anyone who wants to better understand themselves and break old cycles no longer serving them in life.
My Qualifications

What you can Expect from our Sessions
The approaches I use share some important threads:
• They help you understand patterns in thoughts, behaviours, and emotions.
• They balance practical coping tools with deeper emotional work.
• They work well for people seeking both everyday strategies and meaningful insight into why they feel and act the way they do.
My work is grounded in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also integrate Schema Therapy (Level 1 trained) and parts work models (such as IFS-informed techniques), which allow us to look beneath surface symptoms and work with the underlying emotional patterns and protective parts that often drive them.
My Experience
I bring extensive experience from my work in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) sector, based in Moranbah and Mackay and extending to the greater Isaac and Whitsunday regions. Alongside counselling, I have provided crisis support, workplace psychological assessments and private therapy. I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds, ranging from those working in high-pressure environments to those navigating deeply personal issues, including:
• Anxiety and depression disorders
• Relationship and communication challenges
• Life transitions and self-exploration
• Trauma and critical incidents
• Workplace stress, burnout, and adjustment difficulties
• Adolescents with anxiety, low mood, and self-esteem challenges
This breadth of experience has reinforced my belief that therapy can be valuable for anyone — whether you’re going through a crisis, managing ongoing struggles, or simply wanting to better understand yourself and create meaningful change.
I aim to provide a space that is collaborative and non-judgemental, where together we can explore the deeper story beneath your emotions, foster self-awareness, and support your growth.
